We pay for adaptive equipment for amputees; service dogs; shoes for prosthetic feet; ICU; Emergency rent, oil or car payments. We built a summer camp cabin for veterans, sponsored hunting, fishing and ski trips, and sponsored a bed at a substance abuse center just for veterans with substance abuse...pretty much everything veterans need to cope with trauma. and rebuild their lives.
Born at the University of New Hampshire, we started by donating hats to service members with head and brain injuries, but soon realized we could do so much more by selling our merchandise and products - hats, gear and more. – and using the proceeds to support. recovery of service members and veterans. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and partner with colleges and universities, leagues, businesses and fans across the United States to honor active duty military and veterans.
OHT donated more than 3.5 million. USD to selected organizations and helped fill some important care gaps. OHT is truly changing the lives of those who need it.

OHT aims to fill some important gaps in care and get much-needed support to veterans where they need it most.

In 2007 OHT founder Dot Sheehan was listening to a radio station in Boston that was hosting a trivia contest. The question was, "What is the one thing wounded soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan want most?"
OHT was revived in 2008 when tragedy struck the DOT campus community in New Hampshire. Nate Hardy and Mike Koch, two Marines who trained together, fought together and died together in 2008. February 4

The Operation Hat Trick grant supported an ambitious statewide educational tour in Montana for our Veterans Suicide Prevention Program. We held eight training sessions in four cities and trained more than 350 veterans and service members. In just the past six weeks, we've already heard directly from four people who used what they learned at our events to save a veteran's life. These events would not be possible without the donations of Operation Trick. Their motto: "They promise to protect. We promise to support." – and they follow this motto every day. We are grateful for your support of our shared mission to save veterans' lives.
Operation Hat Trick is about Nate Hardy and Mike Koch, two Navy SEALs who trained together, fought together and died together in 2008.
